Roland Piquepaille
Roland Piquepaille (c. 1947 – January 6, 2009) was a technology writer, both for ZDNet [1] and for his own blog, Roland Piquepaille's Technology Trends,[2] and a former software engineer at Silicon Graphics and Cray Research.[3] Piquepaille was also a frequent contributor to Slashdot, and well known for his focus on how new technologies modify life[4]. He died in Paris, France on January 6, 2009,[5] [6] of complications related to an enterococcal bacteria infection.[7]
